Pearl Street One hot summer day I ambled around Hartford looking for likely photogenic scenes. Not far from where I had parked my car, I saw this building, neglected but sturdy. The shadows play a key part in the overall composition.

Indian Hill Indian Hill is a cemetery in Middletown, Conn. At the top of the hill is a small chapel, unused for decades. It is kept locked. The doors are works of art.
