Barn Columbia II This barn caught my eye as I drove by one sunny Saturday. It is a photographer's delight because it is weather worn but sturdy. It has good lines. You can find numerous mini abstract compositions throughout the surface.

Hammonasset I couldn't miss this massive beach-ridden tree at Hammonasset State Park in Madison, Conn., as I jogged past. I like the twisted elements, the gaping holes. The darks and the lights. Nature knows how to appeal to the camera.
